I found a tiny egg in my garage, out of a nest?

This morning, we were cleaning our garage, when we found a tiny teal egg, that is the size of a dime. (very small) The only birds who have been around our garage are morning doves, and we know this isn't a morning dove egg. There are no nests nearby and it was just sitting in the middle of the pavement. What should we do with it?
