I dont remember this movie name help?

like ok there is a black guy and he has to watch this kid and there are very poor the roof always leaking and he is always drinking i remember he used to take wood to some people for liquor or money and they like have a cookout and this dude spits like meat in her face and the black guy runs him off for doing that i no this probably don't make since but if u no a movie like this tell me and give you the points thanks
