My dad went to arizona for my grandpas funeral...?

and he came back and we were eating dinner one night, and these doves just sat on his car for a good 5 minutes. In arizona my dad said that he saw these doves their, my grandpa recently died, is this a sign? What's the significance of doves? Do you think it was a sign that maybe he was with us, here?
