What is the omen or symbolism?

From the day I split up with my ex husband (exactly a year ago) I have been plagued by magpies on a daily basis. I never noticed the things before. Now everywhere I go there is always one. At work, at home, when driving... I have even seen them as road kill. Today I was stood near the window when I heard a loud bang on it. I looked out to see a Thrush fighting for its life and then a magpie flew up to the window, looked at me then flew off. I went out and when I got home there were two mourning doves sitting outside my house. What does it all mean?
